Modern Cabinetry, the DIY store that launched earlier this year in Nashville, has launched a Kickstarter campaign to build a custom kitchen.
The company is aiming to raise $30,000 in pledges by March 31.
The goal is $100,000.
That’s a little more than a third of the amount the company needed to get off the ground, and it’s not a small sum.
The campaign is a $200 pledge for a $50 item.
The items are going to be custom made.
The campaign was originally announced last summer and has raised $17,000 of its $50,000 goal so far.
It is one of several projects from the store’s founder, Aaron Sargent, which aim to create a home for people with disabilities.
Sargents company, Sargens, has been featured in the show “20/20” and also featured in an episode of “The Voice.”
The company has sold furniture, accessories and other furnishings.
The company has been looking for a home and a place to live in Nashville for the past two years, and recently started work on a house in downtown Nashville.
They’re hoping to eventually open their own location in the area.
They want to open the store to help others.
The store is set to open sometime in the spring.
The Kickstarter campaign ends March 31, and the company has a minimum of 30 days to collect the funds.
The shop also has a monthly goal of $50 to get it up and running.
