The Bills quarterback who was arrested for a felony drug offense has hired a new cabinetry contractor to handle his cabinetry duties.
The Bills announced Tuesday that rookie wide receiver Rishard Matthews, 24, will handle cabinetry at the Bills’ facility.
The Buffalo News first reported the news.
A source told the newspaper that Matthews will be working for Cabinetry Studio in the Buffalo area.
The news comes just days after Matthews’ mother, Tiffany Matthews, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance for sale.
She was released on bond and ordered to remain in the custody of the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office until her next court appearance.
The source told The News the company will pay for Matthews’ tuition for one semester.
The Associated Press is not naming Matthews’ new employer because it is not a law enforcement agency.
